ABOUT US

Mostex was founded in 2019 by a team who have many decades of experience in the biomass sector. Their remit was to design a technological solution that would address both the corrosive nature of agri-feedstocks' chemistry and its problematic handling, enabling it to be monetised by converting it into green energy at a lower cost and with a higher energy content than existing alternatives.

In 2021, Mostex were awarded a grant from the Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy as part of their Biomass Feedstocks Innovation Programme. This resulted in the design and manufacture of our prototype Steam Explosion Reactor Assembly (SERA). Proof of concept was achieved with the production of 'The Mostex Pellet using bagasse as the feedstock.
